What is Zoom and how do I use it?

Zoom is an online video conferencing service that allows us to digitally gather together as a youth group. We will be able to see and hear each other through video and audio which allows for engaging and interactive youth group meetings. Of course, the primary purpose of having Y4C Live via Zoom is to provide an opportunity for us to study the Bible together each week as a youth group.
You are not required to have an account or any kind of social media to participate. There are apps for iPhone, iPad, Android, Mac, and PC so that everyone can be involved. As the host, I will have complete control over who is in the digital “room” and what can take place.
As parents, you can also download this application on YOUR phone so that your teen only has access to it through you.

Who are we?

The Youth4Christ youth group is designed specifically for 7th-12th grade students.

Why do we exist?

Everyone exists to give glory to God! Youth4Christ strives to bring glory to God by fulfillling the mission of the First Baptist Church of Milford – training Biblical, mission-minded servants for all levels of ministry. Our goal is to teach and train young people to serve God now, as teenagers, so they can go on to serve Him with the rest of their lives, no matter what they grow up to be as adults.

What do we do?

We passionately believe that leadership only comes from having influence in a person’s life, and that influence only comes from spending time with someone. Youth4Christ has a team of adult youth leaders who are dedicated to training teenagers for Christ through every opportunity available. Applicable Bible lessons, intentional preaching, helpful fellowship, Godly worship, and exciting activities all provide opportunities to influence young people for Jesus Christ!

How do you get involved?

Teen Bible Study meets on Sunday morning at 9am. This time is more of a small-group setting with classes that will have other teens your age. You will learn very applicable Bible lessons that will help you right where you are at in your life.
Teens in Training (TNT) happens on Thursday night at 7pm. This is our whole youth group, 7th-12th grades, meeting together for a time of fellowship, Bible study, games, snacks, teaching, and preaching. You will love TNT!
