The Master Club children's ministry is the highlight for hundreds of children each week during the school year. Kids look forward to the activities, Bible time, games and preaching. The Master Club at First Baptist Church is an ideal place for your child to be challenged physically, emotionally, and spiritually.

Time: Master Club begins at 6:45 in the Bauer/Baker building each Thursday evening during the school year running from August 28, 2008 to May 21, 2009.

What is Master Clubs

Many people have a misconception that church is supposed to be boring and dull. This is especially not the case with Master Clubs. Master Clubs is an exciting weekly club program that teaches kids how to explore the world through God’s Word. The goal of Master Clubs is to disciple or train your child how to effectively live for God. This is accomplished through project workbooks, badge projects, Scripture Memorization and a low Clubber to leader ratio.

The Master Club program consists of Rally Time, Bible Time, Book Time, Game Time, and Award Time. Each of these times will reinforce Bible truths and build godly character. We would love for you to visit your child’s Master Club department to see the excitement for yourself.

• Spotters: Second graders
• Scouts: Third graders
• Ambassadors: Fourth through Sixth graders

Children have the opportunity to earn patches, awards, and certificates based on Bible memory work, club attendance, and book work to show that they are a testimony for the Lord. It provides an environment of fun games and great fellowship all while learning about God. Master Clubs emphasizes Bible knowledge, family, service, patriotism, character, and values. Your Commitment as a Parent

I wanted to make you aware of two items. First, while the facilities, equipment, and membership guides are supplied free by our church, we ask that $.50 dues be given weekly to Club to provide awards and special supplies. You are welcome to give each semester’s dues up front with one check ($7 per semester), or you may simply send the dues weekly with your Clubber.

Second, membership guides, take home booklets, tests, quizzes, and many other materials including badges are freely earned and given to your child. However, we ask that you as the parent would supply the project workbook and the uniform for your child. You can order these by seeing the Club Secretary.

Product Costs: Beginner and Primary project books (3 year olds through 3rd grade) cost $8.00 each and are good for the entire year. Ambassador books (for 4th through 6th grade) cost $14 each and are good for three years. Vests for Beginners cost $12; these will last for two years. Vests for Primaries and Ambassadors cost $13.50 each and each vest lasts for three years.
