Get ready for some exciting fun as we prepare for the great outdoors. Grab yer tents, fryin' pans, fishin' poles, and sleepin' bags; 'cause we're headin' fer da hills! On October 16-17, gather together at the meetin' place for a church-wide campin' trip as we head fer the Camp of the Woods. Men, teens, and boys are all invited to this spectacular event.

When and Where

On Friday, October 16, you can meet us at Bro. Brian Clark’s property at 5580 Lundy-Whitacer Road in Morrow, Ohio 45152. We will serve dinner at 6:00 to 7:30 PM. The activity will begin at 5:00 PM on Friday October 16 and end at 11:30 AM on Saturday, October 17.  (If you desire to come early or stay late to enjoy the great outdoors or enjoy some peaceful fishing, you are welcome to show up beginning at 12 noon on Friday and to stay till 6 PM on Saturday.)

Directions

• Take 28 North through Milford and Goshen
• About 1 mile North of Goshen turn LEFT onto State Route 132
• Proceed 7 miles through Pleasant Plain and Butlersville on 132
• You will come to a stop sign at intersection of US 123. Stay on 132.
• About 1 mile up at the first road, you will turn LEFT on to Lundy-Whitacre Road
• Lundy-Whitacre Road will dead-end at the farm. (Keep left at the mailboxes.)
  

What to Bring

Bring your camping gear, fishing pole and bait, and paintball gear. Plus, if you like midnight snacks, be sure to bring your own. Also, if you are not comfortable sitting on the ground or on a log, consider bringing your own lawn chair. Consider bringing a sleeping bag, tent, and a change of clothes!

Activities

Everyone will find something that they will absolutely enjoy: paintball course (open Saturday morning), pond fishing, river fishing (rib-eye steak awarded for biggest fish), scavenger hunt, corn hole, hiking, or just doing nothing. Come out and enjoy the fellowship. Please no 4x4’s, guns, or hunting.

Cost

The cost for this activity is $5 per person or $10 max per family. This includes dinner on Friday night and breakfast on Saturday morning. Please RSVP either on the sign-up sheets at church or at 266-6216 so we are sure to have plenty of food for you.
